Shawn Dirksen

Shawn grew up on a farm in the Niagara region very similar to the farm he runs today – a mixture of greenhouses, field vegetables and fruit (in the Niagara region it was peaches and cherries). 

He left to get a  degree and work experience in biochemistry, convinced him that farming was way better, so he ran a series of farms in Ontario and BC, finally buying 10 acres of land in Central Saanich and creating Northstar Organics.
